Cancellation Policy

We understand that life happens. Our cancellation policy:

  • 24-hour notice required for cancellations or rescheduling
  • Late cancellations may incur a fee
  • No-shows will be charged the full session fee
  • Emergency situations considered on a case-by-case basis
  • Reschedule easily through our online system

What's the difference between the initial consultation and regular therapy sessions?

The initial consultation (60-90 minutes) is a comprehensive assessment where we gather information, discuss your goals, and create a treatment plan. Regular therapy sessions (50-60 minutes) focus on the therapeutic work itself—processing, learning skills, and working toward your goals.

Do you accept insurance?

Please contact us to discuss our current insurance panel participation. We can provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement, and we're happy to help you understand your benefits.

How long will I need to be in therapy?

The duration of therapy varies based on your individual needs, goals, and the issues being addressed. Some clients benefit from short-term therapy (8-12 sessions), while others engage in longer-term work. We'll regularly assess progress together and adjust as needed.

Is telehealth as effective as in-person therapy?

Research shows that telehealth therapy can be just as effective as in-person sessions for many concerns. It offers the added benefits of convenience, accessibility, and comfort. We use secure, HIPAA-compliant technology to ensure your privacy.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

We require 24-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling. You can easily reschedule through our online system or by contacting us directly. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee.

How do I prepare for a telehealth session?

Find a private, quiet space where you won't be interrupted. Ensure you have a reliable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone. Test your technology a few minutes before your session. Have water and tissues nearby.

What if I'm in crisis?
